Bread baskets with salmon and avocado are an appetizer that is easy to make and very scenic, perfect for a buffet or to accompany a fancy aperitif. If you want to prepare this appetizer with salmon and avocado in advance, I recommend toasting the bread but stuffing it only at the moment of serving so that the other ingredients do not release moisture and soften the bread, thus losing its crunchiness. Now let’s see how to make bread baskets with salmon and avocado, and if you try them, let me know. Barbara

How to prepare Bread baskets with salmon and avocado
Let’s start preparing Bread baskets with salmon and avocado. Pour the cream cheese into a bowl, add some extra virgin olive oil,
lemon zest,
a pinch of salt
and pepper and mix everything well.
Roll the rolling pin over the slices of sandwich bread,
starting from each corner of the slice, make an oblique cut as you see in the photo,
Fold inward 3 corners of the bread, inserting the 4th corner inside the first
Continue in this way until the slice is completed to form the basket.
Then place the baskets on the oven tray and add some oil, bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
When the slices of sandwich bread are toasted, add the previously flavored cream cheese to the center.
Cut the slice of salmon to obtain a strip and roll it to make a small rose, and place it on top of the cheese.
Add two slices of avocado on the sides and serve the baskets
