I roasted the peppers in an air fryer alternatively, you can grill them or roast them in a fan oven at 356°F for 40/45 minutes, then place them inside a food bag and let them rest for 10 minutes so you can peel them perfectly. I cooked one red pepper and one yellow pepper, but you only need 1 for the recipe, so choose the one you prefer, or do as I did and use the leftover as a side dish. How to prepare Crostini with peppers
Let’s start preparing crostini with peppers, roast the pepper in an air fryer alternatively you can grill it or roast it in a fan oven at 356°F for 40/45 minutes, then place it inside a food bag and let it rest for 10 minutes so you can peel it perfectly.
Once roasted, place the peppers on a plate, remove the top stem part, open the pepper and remove the internal seeds using a fork or spoon, simply scrape them lightly. Also, remove the skin by lifting it gently with your hands. Then cut the pepper into pieces, season with salt and oil, and set aside.
Cut the bread into slices and toast it, then place it on a plate. Pour the cream cheese into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, a dash of oil, and mix well. Spread some cheese on each slice and add the pepper slices.
Serve the crostini with peppers or store them in the refrigerator until ready to serve
