If you want, you can also try the mozzarella in carrozza in an air fryer. Mozzarella in carrozza is also great as an alternative for lunch or dinner instead of a savory pie. When baked, it becomes crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and you can also serve it to accompany an aperitif. Here in Venice, it is served as a cicchetto alongside a spritz.
