Usually, turkey legs are large, and one leg makes two servings; you can also serve the meat already deboned and shredded. How to prepare baked turkey leg

  • Let’s start preparing the baked turkey leg. Place the legs in a bowl, add the extra virgin olive oil, the wine, some salt, some pepper, the rosemary needles, the sage leaves, and the wine. Let it marinate for 1 hour.

  • After the marinating time, oil a baking dish suitable for oven cooking and arrange the turkey legs and their marinade. Add the garlic clove, adjust the salt, and if you like, you can add other roast spices.

  • Bake in a static oven preheated to 350°F for 90 minutes, turning the legs occasionally to ensure even browning. I recommend basting the legs with the cooking juices; if too thick, thin it by adding more white wine.
