- 1 chicken breast
- 1.76 oz onion
- as needed extra virgin olive oil
- 1.4 cups peas
- as needed cornstarch (or flour)
- as needed salt
- 3.38 oz vegetable broth
- as needed parsley (optional)
How to prepare Chicken strips with peas
Start preparing the Chicken strips with peas, finely chop the onion, place it in a pan,
add some extra virgin olive oil,
the frozen or fresh peas,
a pinch of salt and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove any bones and fat from the chicken breast, cut it into strips and
coat it in cornstarch.
After 10 minutes of cooking the peas, add the chicken bites to the pan,
stir to ensure even cooking, add the vegetable broth
and keep stirring to form a creamy sauce,
adjust the salt
and cook for 15 minutes,
serve the chicken strips with peas hot with its cooking sauce. If you like, sprinkle with parsley.
