How to make puff pastry breadsticks with bacon
Let’s start preparing the puff pastry breadsticks with bacon. Unroll the puff pastry, place the longer side in front of you, cut the puff pastry into 4 rectangles, and each rectangle into 4 parts to obtain 16 strips.
Place a slice of smoked bacon on each strip, folding it if it’s too long.
Twist each strip to form the breadsticks and gradually lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Break the egg and pour it into a small bowl, beat it with a fork, and brush it over the puff pastry breadsticks.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds
Preheat the static oven to 356°F and when it’s hot, bake and cook for 20 minutes. Once cooked, remove the puff pastry breadsticks from the oven and let them cool before serving.
How to Store Puff Pastry Breadsticks with Bacon
Keep them at room temperature for 1 day, after which the puff pastry will become chewy and no longer crispy.
