  • Prepare the apple filling. Wash and peel the apples, and cut them into chunks. Put everything in a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice. In a pan, place the butter, apples, sugar, cinnamon, chopped walnut kernels. Add the wine and cook over medium heat for about 15/20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

  • Take 2/3 of the shortcrust pastry and roll it out with a rolling pin on a sheet of parchment paper, until you get a thickness of about 1/8 inch. Lay the dough in a 9-inch diameter pan, trim the edges with a knife, and prick the bottom. Cook the pastry shell in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 340°F to partially bake it. Let it cool for 10 minutes, then fill the pie by pouring the cooled apples over the pastry. Roll out the remaining pastry and use a pastry cutter to cut strips to place on the filling as decoration. Transfer the pan to the air fryer basket and cook at 340°F for 10 minutes.
