How to prepare the puff pastry roll with apples and jam
Let’s start preparing the puff pastry roll with apples and jam, put the raisins in a bowl with hot water and let them soak for 15 minutes.
Peel the apples, cut them into 4 parts, remove the core
and then cut them into small pieces, which you will put in a bowl.
Add the melted butter to the apple pieces,
some brown sugar and
the squeezed raisins, mix well and set aside.
Unroll the puff pastry, keep the longer side in front of you, and put some jam in the center, which you will then spread,
crumble the cookies over the jam
and add the apples with raisins.
Now cut the two side parts into strips about 0.4 inches wide,
fold the outermost strips to create the edges,
and braid the others to completely close the roll.
Brush with milk

bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 25 minutes. When the puff pastry roll with apples and jam is cooked, take it out of the oven and let it cool before cutting and serving.
