AIR FRYER TOMATOES with Garlic and Parsley

Air fryer tomatoes with garlic and parsley, a tasty and easy side dish you can prepare in a short time and are excellent eaten hot or at room temperature. The tomatoes cooked in an air fryer are also fabulous served on slices of bread, bruschetta, or sandwiches. I used well-ripened red tomatoes and cut them into slices about 0.4 inches thick, but you can also use cherry or grape tomatoes cut in half. The cooking time may vary depending on the type of air fryer you use (I use this air fryer HERE). I arranged the tomato slices in a perforated baking tray, and to prevent too much liquid from dripping during cooking, I also placed sheets of perforated parchment paper suitable for air fryers on top. Alternatively, you can use parchment paper trays suitable for air fryers. How to prepare air fryer tomatoes with garlic and parsley

  • Let’s start preparing the air fryer tomatoes with garlic and parsley, wash the tomatoes, remove the stem part, and cut the tomatoes into slices about 0.4 inches thick.

  • Arrange the slices in the tray, slightly overlapping them to fit them all. Wash the parsley and trim it, also clean the garlic clove and finely chop both the garlic and parsley.

  • Pour some oil over the tomatoes, preferably with the sprayer so you use it better and spread it evenly over all the tomatoes. Sprinkle the tomatoes with the garlic and parsley mixture, and add a pinch of salt.

  • Place the tray in the air fryer basket and cook in the air fryer at 375°F for 10 minutes.

  • When the air fryer tomatoes with garlic and parsley are ready, serve them hot or at room temperature.
