Ingredients
- 5 oz dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup milk
- 12 oz dry biscuits
- 3 tbsp butter (or sunflower seed oil)
- 3.5 oz dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
How to prepare the easy Yule log
Start preparing the chocolate salami Yule log, break the biscuits into small pieces and set them aside.
Chop the 150 g (5 oz) of dark chocolate,
put it in a bowl, add the butter in pieces or sunflower seed oil,
and the milk, melt it in the microwave for 2 minutes at 600 W. If you don’t have a microwave, first heat the milk and then when it is hot, add the butter and the chocolate pieces and stir until completely melted.
Take the bowl out of the microwave and stir well to completely melt the chocolate,
then add the biscuit pieces and mix well.
Pour onto a sheet of parchment paper,
and using the parchment paper, compact it well and shape it into a salami, then place it in the refrigerator.
Prepare the chocolate ganache now, chop the 100 g (3.5 oz) dark chocolate,
pour the cream into a small saucepan, put on the stove and as soon as it starts to boil, remove and add the chopped dark chocolate,
stir until melted. Let it cool and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, take the cream and chocolate out of the refrigerator and whip it with electric beaters until fluffy and light,
Take the chocolate salami, cut one end at an angle,
place the salami on the serving plate and put the cut piece on the side,
Spread the chocolate ganache you whipped over the chocolate salami,
create lines with a fork,
add the decorations and serve it or store it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
