STRAWBERRY AND CREAM ZUCCOTTO

Strawberry and cream zuccotto, a delicious and creamy dessert that is very easy and quick to make, perfect for any occasion from the simplest to the most refined. You really need very few ingredients to make this dessert with pavesini and strawberries, you can store it in the freezer for a few months, if you know you have guests just take it out a few hours before and you’ll have a fantastic dessert to offer. Ingredients for preparing the Strawberry and Cream Zuccotto

  • 10.5 oz Strawberries
  • 8.8 oz Mascarpone
  • 1 cup Fresh liquid cream
  • 2 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • Pavesini
  • Milk

Preparation

  • Let’s start preparing the Strawberry and cream zuccotto, first wash the strawberries, remove the leaves and cut them into small pieces. Pour the cream into a bowl and whip it with electric beaters.

  • Pour the mascarpone and sugar into another bowl and mix them together. Also add the chopped strawberries and incorporate them into the cream

  • Now add the whipped cream, folding it in with a spatula from top to bottom so as not to deflate it.

  • Line the zuccotto mold or a bowl with cling film and make a layer with the slightly milk-soaked pavesini, pour the freshly prepared cream and level it.

  • Cover the cream with an additional layer of soaked pavesini and close with cling film. Place the Strawberry and cream zuccotto in the freezer for at least 2 hours before serving it.

  • If you keep it in the freezer for longer, take it out a few hours before serving it so it has time to thaw. Please note that once thawed, it cannot be refrozen.

It can be stored in the freezer for several months, in the refrigerator for 3 days
