How to prepare Meatballs with Beer
Let’s start preparing the Meatballs with Beer, boil a potato or steam it, pour the ground meat into a bowl, add the mashed boiled potato,
a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
an egg,
a pinch of salt,
chopped parsley
and mix well to combine the ingredients.
To compact the meatballs well, add breadcrumbs, add them gradually
and incorporate them into the remaining ingredients.
Form the meatballs about the size of an apricot, do not make them too large, so that they cook evenly and are well cooked inside,
then pass them in the flour.
Pour some extra virgin olive oil into a large pan, add the garlic and rosemary sprigs, put on the stove and let it infuse for a few minutes,
add the meatballs
and let them brown well, do not use a fork but move the pan to stir them.
When they are well browned, deglaze with beer and add a little at a time as it evaporates, to make the cooking sauce nice and creamy,
adjust the salt
and pepper.
Cook for about 5 minutes, occasionally moving the pan to cook the meatballs well.
When the beer has evaporated, the Meatballs with Beer are ready to be served, remember to serve them hot with their cooking sauce.
