Baked Pasta with Speck and Smoked Scamorza

Ingredients

  • 12.3 oz pasta
  • 2.8 oz speck (in a single slice)
  • 7.1 oz smoked scamorza
  • 2 cups béchamel
  • grana cheese (grated)
  • salt

Preparation of Baked Pasta with Speck and Smoked Scamorza

  • Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water for a few minutes less than the time indicated on the package.
    In the meantime, cut the speck into strips and cook it in a non-stick pan without adding anything else until it is well browned.

  • Cut the smoked scamorza into cubes.
    Pour a few tablespoons of béchamel into a baking dish.
    Drain the pasta and put it back in the pot.
    Add the speck, smoked scamorza, two-thirds of the remaining béchamel, and some grated grana cheese and mix thoroughly.

  • Pour everything into the baking dish, leveling it.
    Sprinkle the surface with the remaining béchamel and some more grated grana cheese and bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for about twenty minutes, until golden brown.
    Take out and serve your baked pasta hot.
