Salad with Burrata, Cherry Tomatoes, and Arugula

The salad with burrata, cherry tomatoes, and arugula is a tasty cold dish, easy and quick to prepare.

A variation of the caprese salad, made more enticing by the presence of arugula, with its intense and slightly spicy flavor, and the use of sweet cherry tomatoes like datterino, which accompany the creaminess of the burrata in a burst of simple yet very delicious flavors, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner on the hottest and warmest summer days.

Ingredients

  • 7 oz burrata
  • 5 oz datterino cherry tomatoes
  • 3 oz arugula
  • 1 clove garlic
  • basil
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Salad with Burrata, Cherry Tomatoes, and Arugula

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
    Place them in a bowl.
    Peel the garlic clove and add it to the tomatoes.

  • Also add a few basil leaves, torn by hand, and dress with extra virgin olive oil and salt, mixing thoroughly.
    Let it sit to flavor for five minutes.
    Wash the arugula, dry it, and place it on the bottom of a serving dish.

  • Remove the garlic from the tomatoes and place them on the arugula.
    Add the burrata in the center and finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
