Dalgona coffee is a delicious upside-down cappuccino, also called magic coffee, whipped coffee, or frothy coffee, easy and quick to make and very tasty.

It consists of milk (of animal origin, or alternatively plant-based, in which case it is correctly named a plant-based drink and not milk) topped with a coffee foam, perfect to enjoy cold on the hottest days of summer, but also good with hot milk during the rest of the year. It was conceived in North Korea during the 2020 pandemic and quickly spread on social media globally. Its name comes from a candy, Dalgona candy, common in that country.

Very quick to make, no cooking required, perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a sweet break, with few ingredients.

Read on to learn how to make Dalgona coffee or upside-down cappuccino with the easy and quick recipe below, as usual, right after the photo. 😉
