Ground Meat Skewers

Ground meat skewers are a tasty main course, easy and quick to make, and very appetizing.

Elongated meatballs wrapped in delicious thin slices of bacon, cooked in a pan with a little oil, in a few minutes, for a tasty main course perfect for lunch or dinner, with family or friends, for an informal meal or a buffet, rich in flavor and irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 1.1 lbs ground meat
  • 5.3 oz bacon (sliced thinly)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 oz Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsps breadcrumbs
  • parsley
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Ground Meat Skewers

  • Place the ground meat in a bowl and season it with a pinch of salt and a bunch of chopped parsley.
    Add the egg and mix thoroughly, then also add the grated Parmesan and breadcrumbs.

  • Knead until you get a homogeneous mixture.
    With moistened hands, form oval meatballs.
    Wrap them with bacon and skewer them with wooden skewers.

  • Heat a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a large non-stick pan, place the prepared skewers in it, and let them brown on all sides for about ten minutes.
    Serve your ground meat skewers immediately, piping hot.
