The savory ricotta flatbread is a tasty appetizer, main course, or single dish, easy and quick to make.
Based on ricotta, yeast-free, crispy outside and soft inside, and delicious with simple ingredients, it is perfect for family dinners or with friends and can also be a great fridge-cleaning recipe if you have some cold cuts to use up that you can add to the mixture.

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups ricotta
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup grana cheese (grated)
- 3.5 oz cooked ham (sliced)
- 3.5 oz scamorza (or provolone)
- 1/3 cup flour
- salt
Preparation of the Savory Ricotta Flatbread
Place the ricotta in a large bowl.
Add the egg and a pinch of salt and mix until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Incorporate the grated grana cheese and the flour.Dice the scamorza and add it to the mixture.
Chop the ham slices and add them, mixing well.
Line a 9.5-inch diameter cake tin with a sheet of parchment paper.Pour in the prepared mixture and press and level it to fill the whole tin.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 392°F for about twenty-five minutes, until golden.
Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve your savory ricotta flatbread.
