Air fryer roasted peppers are super quick and easy to make.
Roasted peppers are a classic summer side dish, simple and full of flavor, perfect to accompany any type of main course, whether it be meat, fish, or based on eggs or cheese.
Cooking in the air fryer allows you to cut the cooking time in half compared to the oven and is perfect for getting well-cooked, soft, and hearty peppers that are perfect to dress and store in the refrigerator for a couple of days, with the certainty of finding them always tasty and irresistible. Additionally, the peppers are easy to peel, but you can also let them “sweat” in a plastic food bag for about ten minutes before removing the skin.

Ingredients
- 2 bell peppers
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Air Fryer Roasted Peppers
Wash the peppers, dry them, and place them in the air fryer basket.
Cook them at 392°F for twenty minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
When they are cooked, remove the basket, let cool for a few minutes, then take out the peppers and peel them: the skin will come off very easily!
Cut them into strips and season to your taste with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and herbs.
