Strawberry and Almond Spread

The strawberry and almond spread is a deliciously sweet cream, easy to make and perfect for spreading on bread and toast for breakfast or snack time.

Sweet, healthy, and with few ingredients, it’s perfect for spreading or eating by the spoonful!

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz blanched almonds
  • 0.5 oz dried strawberries (click for the recipe to make them at home)
  • 1.8 oz butter
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1.4 oz powdered sugar

Preparation of the Strawberry and Almond Spread

  • Toast the almonds in the oven at 284°F for twenty minutes (or in an air fryer at the same temperature but for ten minutes), turning them halfway through cooking.

  • Transfer them to a blender and blend in pulses until you get a smooth cream. Set it aside, leaving it in the blender.
    Separately, grind the dried strawberries into a powder.

  • Add them to the almond cream along with butter, milk, and powdered sugar, and blend everything until your almond and strawberry cream is well combined.
    Store it in a sterilized glass jar in the refrigerator for up to a week (or less depending on the milk’s expiration date).
