Ingredients

for a 200 cc jar

  • 4 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 200 ml water (hot)
  • 300 ml heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Preparation of Coffee Jam

  • Dissolve the instant coffee in hot water and set it aside.
    Put the cream and sugar in a saucepan and dissolve the sugar by stirring thoroughly with a whisk.
    Bring to a boil, let the cream come to a boil, and add the water and instant coffee mixture.

  • Lower the heat and let it cook for twenty-five minutes.
    Transfer the resulting mixture to a sterilized glass jar, place the jar in a saucepan filled with water up to two inches from the jar’s edge, and let it simmer for half an hour without the lid.

  • At the end of this second cooking phase, carefully remove the jar from the water, seal it tightly, and let it cool completely, then let it rest in the refrigerator for a few hours before consuming your coffee jam.
