Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- Half packet baking powder (8 g)
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- powdered sugar (for decoration)
Preparation of the Nutella Cake in Air Fryer
To prepare your Nutella cake in the air fryer, in a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer until you obtain a light and fluffy mixture.
Incorporate the Nutella, still using the electric mixer.Add the milk.
Add the flour and the baking powder.
Pour the prepared mixture into a buttered and floured baking pan of 7 or 8 inches in diameter suitable for your air fryer.Preheat the air fryer to 320°F, then cook the cake for twenty-five minutes.
Do the toothpick test, which should come out dry when inserted in the center of the cake; otherwise, extend the cooking by another five minutes.
When it’s done, let the cake cool completely in the pan.
Transfer it to a serving plate or tray, decorate with powdered sugar as desired, and serve.
Notes
The “light” color of the cake is because there is no cocoa powder among the ingredients: if you want to achieve a “dark” effect, you can replace 30 g of all-purpose flour with an equal amount of unsweetened cocoa powder.
