Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2.6 oz sugar
- 0.4 cup milk
- 3.4 tbsp vegetable oil (or a mild-flavored oil)
- 1.6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder (half a packet)
- 2 apples (organic)
- ground cinnamon
- powdered sugar (for decoration)
Preparation of the air fryer apple cake
Beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a homogeneous and frothy mixture.
Incorporate the milk and vegetable oil.
Add the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of cinnamon.Peel one apple, remove the core, cut it into cubes, and add them to the batter.
Grease and flour a cake pan suitable for the air fryer and pour in the prepared mixture.
Wash and dry the other apple, remove the core, and cut it into thin slices. Arrange the slices in a circle on the surface of the cake, slightly pressing them into the batter.Bake your apple cake in the air fryer at 320°F for the first fifteen minutes, then raise the temperature to 356°F and bake for another ten minutes.
At the end of cooking, remove the cake from the air fryer
and let it cool completely in the pan before transferring it to a serving plate and decorating it as you like with powdered sugar.
