Ingredients
- 1 fennel (large)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon grana cheese (grated)
- breadcrumbs
- chopped parsley
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Fennel Cutlets in Air Fryer
Wash the fennel well.
With a smooth-bladed knife or a mandoline, cut it into slices about 1/8 to 3/16 inch thick, without removing the core, so the slices remain whole. In a large plate, mix some breadcrumbs with a tablespoon of grated grana cheese and some chopped parsley.
Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat it with a fork with a pinch of salt.
Dip the fennel slices first into the beaten egg, turning them on all sides, and then into the breadcrumb mixture, making it adhere well. Then spray each breaded slice with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and place it in the air fryer basket without overlapping them.
Cook them at 392°F for twelve minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
Remove and serve immediately, hot and crispy, your fennel cutlets in the air fryer.
