Chestnuts in an air fryer are a delicious snack or hunger buster, easy and quick to prepare.
They cook directly in the air fryer, without soaking, in a short time and are very easy to peel and very soft, in short, perfect! A simple cooking technique and an alternative to the traditional oven, or in a pan with salt or in microwave.

Preparation of chestnuts in air fryer
Remove any chestnuts with holes or incisions.
Make a cross-cut on the rounded part of each chestnut.Place them on the air fryer basket with the “opened” side facing up and without overlapping them.
Cook them at 356°F for fifteen to twenty minutes (depending on the size of the chestnuts).
At the end of cooking, place them in a clean cloth and wrap them to keep them warm.
Serve your chestnuts in the air fryer immediately, or if you want to store them, peel and place them in a food bag.
