Pumpkin Fritters with Parmesan

Pumpkin fritters with parmesan are a delightful appetizer, easy to make and very tasty.

Quick to prepare by simply blending the pumpkin without pre-cooking it, creating a delicious batter with parmesan and a few other ingredients to fry in hot oil for crispy fritters on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 8.8 oz pumpkin (already cleaned)
  • 3.5 oz parmesan (grated)
  • 0.4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp instant yeast for savory preparations
  • oil (for frying)
  • salt

Preparation of Pumpkin Fritters with Parmesan

  • Cut the pumpkin into cubes and blend it in a mixer until it turns into a puree.
    Place it in a bowl.
    Add the grated cheese and mix thoroughly with a spoon.

  • Also add the flour and the teaspoon of yeast for savory preparations, mix again and then add the egg and a pinch of salt.
    Mix until the mixture is homogeneous.
    Heat plenty of oil for frying in a deep pan.

  • When it’s very hot, fry a spoonful of the prepared mixture at a time to form the fritters, turning them on all sides and cooking only a few at a time until golden brown.
    Use a slotted spoon to remove your pumpkin fritters with parmesan and let them drain the excess oil on kitchen paper or frying paper.
    Serve them immediately, nice and hot.
