Ingredients for the Soft Chocolate and Nutella Tart
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 5/8 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1.75 oz dark chocolate
- 1.75 oz dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Half packet baking powder (8 g)
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- powdered sugar
Preparation of the Soft Chocolate and Nutella Tart
Prepare the pastry.
In a large bowl, cream the softened butter in chunks with the sugar using a whisk.
Add the egg and incorporate it into the mixture.
Add the flour and baking powder and knead until a smooth, homogeneous dough forms.
Form into a dough ball, wrap in cling film, and let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate cake by melting the butter over low heat or in the microwave.
Chop the 50 g of dark chocolate and melt them in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
In a bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the egg with the sugar until it doubles in volume, then add the melted butter and milk.
Also add the melted chocolate, then the flour and baking powder.
Finally, add the dark chocolate chips.Take the pastry from the fridge and roll it out with a rolling pin to form a disk suitable for covering the bottom and sides of a 22 cm diameter cake pan.
Place the created disk in the buttered and floured cake pan.
Spread the bottom with Nutella, leveling it.
Pour the chocolate cake batter over the Nutella, leveling it as well.Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for forty minutes.
Remove from the oven and let your soft chocolate and Nutella tart cool completely in the cake pan.
Then transfer it to a tray or serving plate and sprinkle it with powdered sugar before serving, as desired.
