Ingredients
- 10.5 oz rigatoni
- 14 oz mixed ground meat
- 1 3/4 cups broth
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Half glass white wine
- 1 clove onion
- Half carrot
- 3.5 oz scamorza (cubed)
- grana cheese (grated)
- 2 cups béchamel
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Baked Pasta with White Meat Sauce
Chop the onion, peel the carrot and cut it into small pieces.
In a saucepan, heat a swirl of extra virgin olive oil and add the onion and carrot.
Let them brown, then add the crumbled ground meat and a tablespoon of flour and mix.Brown the meat on all sides, then deglaze with white wine, let it evaporate, and add the vegetable broth.
Cover with a lid, lower the heat, and let the sauce cook for forty minutes, adjusting the salt towards the end of cooking.
When the sauce is cooked, mix it with the béchamel.Cook the pasta in salted boiling water for a few minutes less than the cooking time indicated on the package.
Drain it, put it back in the pot, add the diced scamorza and the sauce with béchamel, and mix thoroughly.
Transfer everything to a large baking dish, sprinkle with plenty of grated cheese, and bake in a preheated convection oven at 392°F (200°C) for fifteen minutes.
Take it out of the oven and serve your baked pasta with white meat sauce.
