The 5-minute chocolate and walnut cake is a delicious pantry cake, easy and quick to prepare.
It is a version of the 5-minute cake that is soft and particularly tasty, perfect for breakfast or snack, but also as a dessert, prepared using only a whisk and mixing the liquid ingredients to which the solid ingredients are incorporated, all in a few minutes, then into the oven.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3.5 oz vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tbsps baking powder (half a packet)
- 1 packet vanillin
- powdered sugar (for decoration)
Preparation of the 5-minute chocolate and walnut cake
Finely chop the walnuts in a food processor.
In a large bowl, place the eggs, vegetable oil, and milk, and mix with a whisk.Add the sugar, incorporate it into the mixture, then also add the flour, finely chopped walnuts, baking powder, and vanillin and mix thoroughly until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Incorporate the chocolate chips and pour the obtained mixture into a buttered and floured 9.5-inch diameter cake pan.Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for thirty minutes.
Before removing from the oven, perform the toothpick test; if it comes out clean, the cake is done, otherwise, extend the cooking time a little longer.
Let your 5-minute chocolate and walnut cake cool completely in the pan, then transfer it to a serving plate or tray and finish with a dusting of powdered sugar.
