Pan-seared chicken breast is a tasty main course, flavorful and easy to prepare.
With just a few ingredients, it’s a very simple recipe to execute, perfect for any occasion: the chicken breast doesn’t dry out, but stays tender, tasty, and is really flavorful. It can be prepared in advance and briefly reheated when ready to serve.

Ingredients
- 14 oz chicken breast (whole)
- 3.5 oz prosciutto (sliced)
- 3 tbsps butter
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 shot marsala
- sage
- salt
Preparation of Pan-Seared Chicken Breast
Clean the chicken breast, remove any small bones, and divide it in two.
Place the slices of prosciutto on a cutting board and use them to wrap each piece of chicken, one at a time, until they are completely covered.Peel the garlic.
In a large non-stick pan, melt the butter with a few sage leaves and let the garlic clove brown in it.
Add the prepared chicken breasts and let them brown on both sides.Season with salt and deglaze with marsala.
Once it has evaporated, cover the pan with a lid and let the chicken cook for another half hour.
Serve your pan-seared chicken breast hot.
Notes
You can replace the prosciutto with other cold cuts according to your taste, such as speck.
