Ingredients

  • 2.2 lbs cardoncelli mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • breadcrumbs
  • parsley
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation of Gratinated Cardoncelli Mushrooms

  • Clean the mushrooms with some damp kitchen paper and cut off the end part with the roots.
    Arrange them in a baking dish with the stems facing upward.

  • In a bowl, put the minced garlic cloves, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and a bit of breadcrumbs and mix them.

  • Sprinkle them over the mushrooms, finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and bake in a preheated static oven at 392°F for about twenty minutes, until golden brown.
    Serve your gratinated cardoncelli mushrooms hot.
