Pasta with bacon sauce is a tasty and easy-to-make first course.
Perfect for everyday family lunch or dinner, it is made with a few ingredients almost always present in the pantry and very quickly, and is enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Ingredients
- 11.3 oz pasta
- 5.3 oz sweet bacon (in a single slice)
- Half onion
- 2.1 cups tomato purée
- Parmesan (grated)
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of the pasta with bacon sauce
Cut the bacon into cubes.
Chop the onion and sauté it in a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a pot.
Add the diced bacon, stir, let it brown, and when it has changed color, add the tomato purée.Lightly salt, stir, cover with a lid and let cook for fifteen minutes over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.
In the meantime, cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water until al dente.Drain the pasta, place it in a bowl and dress it with a few ladles of the prepared sauce and plenty of grated cheese.
Mix thoroughly, distribute on serving plates, and finish each with a bit more sauce before serving your pasta with bacon sauce.
