The 5-minute coffee cake is a delicious pantry cake, easy and quick to prepare.
It only takes a few minutes to prepare by first mixing the dry ingredients together, then the liquids, and combining them at the end before baking your fragrant cake, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 7 oz sugar
- 1/4 cup coffee (bitter liquid)
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- powdered sugar (for decoration)
Preparation of the 5-Minute Coffee Cake
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
In another bowl, place the milk and dissolve the two teaspoons of instant coffee in it, then add the liquid coffee, eggs, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and mix thoroughly.Make a well in the center of the flour mixture bowl and pour the liquids in a thin stream, stirring with a whisk to combine everything and avoid lumps until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Butter and flour a 9-inch diameter cake pan and pour in the prepared mixture.Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for thirty-five minutes: perform the toothpick test to check its doneness, by inserting a toothpick in the center of the cake, it should come out clean, otherwise, extend the cooking time a bit more.
Remove from the oven, let cool in the cake pan, and then transfer your 5-minute coffee cake to a serving plate, finishing as desired with a dusting of powdered sugar.
