Ingredients
- 7 oz semi-aged goat cheese
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 bunch basil
- 1 bunch mint
- oil (for frying)
- salt
Preparation of Fried Cheese with Herbs
Clean the herbs with a dampened sheet of parchment paper, then chop them and mix them in a small bowl with the breadcrumbs.
In another bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt.Cut the cheese into cubes.
Dip them in the beaten eggs and then in the bowl of breadcrumbs with the herbs, pressing to ensure the coating adheres well.Fry the prepared cheese in plenty of hot oil, cooking a few pieces at a time, until golden brown. Drain with a slotted spoon and allow to dry from excess oil on a plate lined with kitchen paper towels.
Lightly salt and serve immediately, very hot, your fried cheese with herbs.
