Ingredients
- 14 oz penne rigate
- 7 oz champignon mushrooms
- 3 oz sweet bacon (diced)
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup cooking cream
- 3 oz mozzarella
- 2 tbsps butter
- parsley
- salt
Preparation of Penne on the Terrace
Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel, gently rubbing to remove any dirt residue, and then slice them.
Clean a bunch of parsley the same way, with a damp paper towel, and chop it.
Drain the mozzarella from its preserving liquid and cut it into pieces.In a large pan, or a wok, melt the butter.
Add the mushrooms and let them brown over medium heat for at least five minutes, then salt and add the parsley and let it flavor for a few more minutes.
Add the bacon, let it cook for five minutes, and then incorporate the tomato sauce and the cooking cream.
Stir and bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let it cook for about twenty minutes.Meanwhile, cook the pasta al dente in plenty of salted water.
Drain it and add it to the prepared sauce.
Stir thoroughly, add the mozzarella, and stir again to melt it.
Serve immediately, piping hot, your penne on the terrace, adding if desired a little more chopped parsley or grated cheese.
