Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups g flour
- 1/2 cup g grana cheese (grated)
- 2/3 cup g milk
- 3 1/2 tbsp g vegetable oil
- 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations
- 3.5 oz g Milanese salami
- 3.5 oz g scamorza cheese
- sesame seeds
- salt
Preparation of the Rustic Cake with Salami
Cut the scamorza into thin slices.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a teaspoon of salt and the grated cheese using an electric mixer.
Incorporate the vegetable oil and milk slowly, then the flour, a little at a time, still using the electric mixer, and finally the instant yeast for savory preparations.Work the mixture until it’s smooth and homogeneous.
Butter and flour a 10-inch diameter cake pan and pour in half of the prepared mixture.
Fill with a layer of salami.
Add a layer of scamorza and another layer of salami.Pour the rest of the mixture over the filling, level it, and sprinkle the surface with sesame seeds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 340°F in a ventilated mode for twenty-five minutes.
Remove from the oven, let it cool completely, and serve your rustic cake with salami.
