Salmon and peas in a pan is a tasty fish-based second course, easy and quick to prepare.
Simple yet irresistible, it’s an ideal dish for lunch or dinner. The salmon is a fish rich in vitamins, omega 3, phosphorus, and selenium, and it is very tasty. The pairing of peas with a sweet taste and the delicate and intense flavor of salmon captivates the palate and is very delicious.

Ingredients
- 1.75 lbs salmon fillet
- 4 cups peas
- 1 onion
- vegetable broth (hot)
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Preparation of Salmon and Peas in a Pan
Clean the onion and chop it.
Heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a large pan.
Sauté the onion until golden and add the peas.Stir to flavor, then add salt and pepper, and add enough hot vegetable broth to cover the peas.
Cover with a lid and let it cook for ten to fifteen minutes, adding more vegetable broth as needed.
Meanwhile, clean the salmon by removing the skin and cut it into chunks.When the peas are almost cooked, remove the lid and let the cooking liquid reduce a bit before adding the salmon chunks.
Turn up the heat and cook on high for another five minutes or so, stirring gently, until the salmon is cooked.
Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper and serve your salmon and peas in a pan immediately.
