Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (fresh, round)
- 3.5 oz cooked ham (sliced)
- 1.75 oz provola
- 1 egg
Preparation of Puff Pastry Ham Calzone
Unroll the puff pastry.
Prick its surface with the tines of a fork.
Fill half of the pastry disc with the cooked ham and provola, then fold the unfurled part over the filled part.Using the tines of the fork again, press down the edges of the created half-moon, so they seal, then fold them inward.
Transfer the created calzone onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the surface of the pastry.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 428°F for eighteen minutes.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve your puff pastry ham calzone.
