  • 1 egg (XL size)
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 0.35 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch fine salt

  • Start by preparing everything you need: beat the egg in a bowl with a fork, pour the flour onto a plate (or small tray) and in another plate pour the breadcrumbs mixing it with the salt and poppy seeds.

  • Prepare the baking tray by lining it with a sheet of baking paper.

  • Dip the slices first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs with poppy seeds pressing well so they are well breaded.

  • Place the breaded slices in the tray, drizzle with some oil and preheat the oven to 356°F and once hot, bake them, cook for about 15 minutes, then serve them hot, if you like garnish with fresh parsley! Enjoy your meal!

Tips for Cooking in a Pan

If you want to cook the breaded slices with poppy seeds in a pan, you just need to lightly grease a non-stick pan, medium heat and cook for 4 minutes on each side turning them halfway through cooking!
