- 0.35 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 pinch fine salt

Start by preparing everything you need: beat the egg in a bowl with a fork, pour the flour onto a plate (or small tray) and in another plate pour the breadcrumbs mixing it with the salt and poppy seeds.
Prepare the baking tray by lining it with a sheet of baking paper.
Dip the slices first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs with poppy seeds pressing well so they are well breaded.
