Ingredients

  • 5.3 oz pandoro
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • Half vanilla pod (the seeds)
  • 0.5 oz dark chocolate chips
  • powdered sugar (for decoration)

Preparation of Pandoro Dessert with Cream and Chocolate

  • Heat the milk with the seeds of the vanilla pod.
    In a saucepan, off the heat, beat the egg yolks with sugar until you have a light mixture and then incorporate the flour.
    Gradually add the milk, without stopping stirring, until you have a smooth and lump-free mixture, then put the saucepan on the heat.

  • Continue stirring until the cream thickens, then turn off the heat and transfer it to a plate, spreading it out and covering it with a piece of plastic wrap in contact with the surface of the cream.
    Let it cool.

  • Cut the pandoro into pieces and then mix it with the cold cream.
    Transfer everything to a baking dish and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    Serve your pandoro dessert with cream and chocolate with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
