The sandwich star is a super easy Christmas appetizer to prepare.
Few, simple ingredients, no cooking required, and in little time, it makes a perfect appetizer to enrich your holiday table, pleasing everyone, adults and children alike, with sandwich bread, with which you can prepare a great number of tasty and easy appetizers.

Ingredients
- 6 slices sandwich bread (square)
- 5 oz cooked ham (sliced)
- 4 cheese slices
- mayonnaise
Preparation of the Sandwich Star
Place a slice of sandwich bread on a work surface.
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and fill with some ham and a cheese slice.
Cover with another slice of bread, spread mayonnaise on the slice, and fill again with ham and cheese.Cover with a final slice of bread and spread it with mayonnaise as well.
Prepare another sandwich square in the same way using three slices of bread and the remaining filling.
Cut each sandwich square first into quarters to get four smaller squares, then cut each small square diagonally to make eight triangles.Place a large whole square thus cut in the center of a serving plate and arrange each triangle of the second sandwich around it to form an eight-pointed star, as seen in the photo above.
Serve your sandwich star.
