Baked Tiramisù Cake

Ingredients

  • 5.3 oz ladyfingers
  • 1.1 lbs mascarpone
  • 3 eggs
  • 4.2 oz sugar
  • 3.4 fl oz coffee (cold, about 2 cups)
  • 1.4 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation of Baked Tiramisù Cake

  • Coarsely chop the dark chocolate.
    Using an electric mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar until they are light and fluffy, then add the mascarpone, mixing again until you obtain a soft and homogeneous cream.

  • Finely chop 3 ladyfingers and add them to the cream, folding them in gently with a spatula.
    Line a 9.5-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
    Create a base with the ladyfingers on the bottom of the pan, breaking some if necessary to avoid gaps.

  • Wet the ladyfingers with the coffee using a brush or spoon, then cover them with a sprinkle of unsweetened cocoa powder.
    Pour the prepared cream over the top and cover the entire surface of the cake with the chopped dark chocolate.
    Bake in a preheated static oven at 320°F for forty minutes.
    Remove from oven and let your baked tiramisù cake cool completely before transferring it to a serving plate and serving it.
