Ingredients

  • 9 oz tomatoes (mixed)
  • 9 oz mozzarella fiordilatte
  • basil
  • oregano
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of the Caprese

  • Slice the mozzarella and let it drain in a colander to remove the excess water.

  • Wash the tomatoes and slice them the same thickness as the mozzarella slices.

  • Arrange the tomatoes on the bottom of a serving plate, add the mozzarella slices, and season everything with extra virgin olive oil, salt, oregano, and a few fresh basil leaves.
    Serve your caprese.
