The caprese is a typical Italian dish, a tomato, mozzarella, and basil salad emblematic of our cuisine.

Ingredients
- 9 oz tomatoes (mixed)
- 9 oz mozzarella fiordilatte
- basil
- oregano
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of the Caprese
Slice the mozzarella and let it drain in a colander to remove the excess water.
Wash the tomatoes and slice them the same thickness as the mozzarella slices.
Arrange the tomatoes on the bottom of a serving plate, add the mozzarella slices, and season everything with extra virgin olive oil, salt, oregano, and a few fresh basil leaves.
Serve your caprese.
