Neapolitan susamielli are traditional Christmas sweets from Neapolitan cuisine, spiced, egg-free, and lactose-free, easy and quick to make.

It is an ancient recipe, dating back to the 1700s, when they were made with sesame seeds, from which they take their name. In the modern version, they are made with almonds, honey, and spices, prepared and given as gifts at Christmas along with struffoli, roccocò, and mostacciuoli. They are similar to roccocò, but are softer and of a different shape. They are special when served at the end of a meal, such as on Christmas Eve, together with a good mulled wine.
