Ingredients
- 10.5 oz coconut Greek yogurt (or 8.8 oz of plain Greek yogurt + 1.75 oz of desiccated coconut)
- 2/3 cup whipping cream
- 3 oz Pavesini (or other dry cookies of your choice)
- milk (or coffee according to your taste)
- desiccated coconut (for decoration)
Preparation of the Yogurt and Coconut Frozen Dessert
Whip the cream until stiff peaks form with an electric mixer.
Add the coconut Greek yogurt (or the plain Greek yogurt and 1.75 oz of desiccated coconut) and continue whipping with the electric mixer until you get a homogeneous mixture.
In a 5 x 7 inch baking dish, create a layer of Pavesini quickly dipped in well-chilled milk from the refrigerator.
Cover the Pavesini with a third of the cream.
Make another layer of Pavesini dipped in milk, another with another third of the cream, a last layer of Pavesini, and a final one with the remaining cream, leveling it.
Sprinkle a bit of desiccated coconut on the surface and let your yogurt and coconut frozen dessert rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving it.
