Ingredients
- 11 oz pasta
- 7 oz Philadelphia (or other spreadable cheese)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- basil
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Preparation of Philadelphia Pasta and Cherry Tomatoes
Fill a large pot with water for cooking the pasta and put it on the stove.
In the meantime, prepare the sauce.
Wash the cherry tomatoes, cut them into wedges, and remove the seeds.Put them in a blender, add a few basil leaves, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, and the spreadable cheese.
Operate the appliance until you obtain a smooth cream.Drain the pasta al dente and put it back in the pot, setting aside a bit of the
cooking water.
Add the prepared sauce to the pasta, mixing thoroughly and adding some of the reserved water if it becomes too dry.
Serve your Philadelphia pasta and cherry tomatoes immediately.
