Skillet Gratin Cherry Tomatoes

Skillet gratin cherry tomatoes are a tasty vegetarian side dish that is super easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsps breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic
  • parsley
  • basil
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Skillet Gratin Cherry Tomatoes

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes, dry them, and cut them in half.
    Peel the garlic.
    In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with some chopped parsley, some chopped basil, and a pinch of salt.

    Heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a pan, sauté the garlic clove until golden, then remove it.
    Lower the heat and add the cherry tomatoes, cut side down.
    Let them brown for a few minutes over medium heat, then turn them cut side up.

    Sprinkle them with the breadcrumb mixture, cover with a lid, and let cook for five minutes.
    Serve your skillet gratin cherry tomatoes.
