Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 7 oz toasted hazelnuts
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Nutella (or hazelnut spread of your choice)

Preparation of Hazelnut Lady’s Kisses

  • Finely chop the hazelnuts.
Gather the chopped nuts in a bowl and mix them with the sugar.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, add the egg, and start mixing with a fork.

  • Slowly add the vegetable oil, then gradually incorporate the flour.
When the liquids are absorbed, knead by hand until you have a homogeneous and slightly sticky dough.
Form balls of two centimeters in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 340°F for twenty minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Spread some Nutella on the flat side of the cookies, pairing them two by two and pressing the halves together so they stick.
Serve your hazelnut lady’s kisses immediately or store them in a tin box or airtight container.
