Coffee ice cream, for a delicious after-meal treat or a refreshing summer snack. It can be prepared in no time with just 3 ingredients and the best part is that you don’t need an ice cream maker, just an electric mixer. This recipe yields about 2 lbs of ice cream, enough for approximately 6/8 people.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (1 can)
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Electric mixer
  • 1 Container
  • 1 Spatula

Coffee Ice Cream Preparation

  • Pour the whipping cream and instant coffee into a large bowl, keep in mind that it will increase in volume.

  • Now whip everything with the electric mixer until the marks of the beaters remain.

  • At this point, add the can of sweetened condensed milk and whip the mixture again until the cream and milk are well combined, it will take a couple of minutes.

  • Once the mixture is well combined and whipped, it will be nice and firm and fairly compact.

  • Then transfer to a container with a lid and place in the freezer for at least 6/7 hours, even better if for 12 hours.

    After 12 hours, the ice cream is ready.

  • And voilà… your coffee ice cream is ready to be served, perhaps with a sprinkle of cocoa.

Useful Tips

I used already sweetened cream, but you can easily use unsweetened cream as well.

For an even more indulgent ice cream, you can add chocolate chips or some chopped nuts to the whipped mixture.
