Today, after the success of the Crumble with Lemon-Flavored Ricotta Cream, I prepared the crumble with orange-flavored ricotta cream: delicious, perfect for this period still rich in oranges. Super flavorful and moist, it practically melts in your mouth. I used the Bimby, but a stand mixer or hand mixing works just as well.

- Difficulty: Very Easy
- Cost: Economical
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 1Piece
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Autumn, Winter
Ingredients
- 3.5 oz butter in pieces
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 orange (zest without the white part)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 orange (zest without the white part)
- 17.6 oz sheep ricotta cheese
- 3/4 oz liqueur (I used Villacidro Murgia)
Tools
- Bimby
- Pan 26 cm springform pan
- Spatula silicone
Steps
In the Bimby bowl, pour the sugar and orange zest.
Powder for 20 seconds at speed 10.
Add the flour, sugar, butter, egg, and baking powder.
Mix for 20 seconds at speed 5.
Transfer 1/3 of the mixture to the bottom of the pan. I recommend a sheet of parchment paper at the bottom of the pan, it will be easier to remove it from the pan later.
Without washing the bowl, add the orange zest and sugar and powder for 20 seconds at speed 10. Add the ricotta and liqueur and mix for 20 seconds at speed 4.
If needed, increase the time.
Transfer the cream onto the previously prepared base.
Cover the surface with the leftover crumbles of dough.
Bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.
