Ingredients
- 2.2 lbs asparagus
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 2 pinches fine salt

Preparation of Asparagus with Oil, Salt, and Pepper
Wash the fresh asparagus well, dry them with a dish towel, and then cut the lower part of the stalk, the hardest and woodiest part.
Fill the bottom of the steamer pot with water, insert the basket, and add the washed and cleaned asparagus.
Cover with the lid and cook for 15 minutes.
Once the asparagus is cooked, transfer them to a large frying pan in which you have added 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Add two pinches of fine salt and let everything absorb the flavors well.
Once the asparagus is well seasoned, add a generous grind of fresh black pepper.
And voilà… your asparagus with oil, salt, and pepper is ready to enjoy as a side dish or to use in mixed salads, either cold or warm.
Useful Tips
